MATCH REPORT by Phil Stopford
Birkbeck Orient B could not of gotten off to a worse start against fellow promotion chasing Bow Badgers. From the kickoff, The O's lost the ball and within 30 seconds Badgers were through on goal and 0-1 up. Playing into the wind in the first half, Birkbeck maintain possession for the most part, but for all the possession only have one half chance with Manager Sean Preston shooting from distance. Orient continue the second half in the same vein as the first, plenty of possession, but no chances created. With 10 minutes to go Badgers take a two goal lead and put the game beyond Birkbeck who continue to have the majority of possession without creating any chances clear or otherwise. This was Orient's best performance in some time, but that's little consolation after this defeat. |
